Data Import

DB Designer lets you import data from files and, when configured, from external sources.

Typical Formats​

  • CSV.
  • Excel.
  • JSON.
  • Airtable, when configured.

Before Importing​

  1. Check headers.
  2. Verify that data types are consistent.
  3. Remove empty or duplicate rows if they are not needed.
  4. Import a small test file when the dataset is large.

After Import​

Check sample rows and verify that dates, numbers, and required fields were interpreted correctly.
